(01) / About

A support worker
with a few extra chapters.

My job is simple: show up as a real person, meet you where you are, and help you do the things that matter.

I'm Jack, an independent NDIS support worker based in Adelaide. I work with adults across the spectrum, including autism, intellectual disability and psychosocial support, one-on-one, no agency rostering.

The CV's a bit unusual. Twelve years as a DJ, a journalism degree, a few years in finance. What it translates to: I pick up on people quickly, I'm calm when plans change, and I can hold a proper conversation. I don't work off a script. I work off your NDIS goals.

Away from work: music, animals, and way too much time on creative tech. Reliable, genuine, same guy every time.

How I work
/01
Person-centred
You lead. I support. NDIS plans follow the person, not the other way around.
/02
Adaptable
Different days need different energy. I adjust without making a thing of it.
/03
Calm under pressure
Big feelings, tight schedules, last-minute changes: steady either way.
/04
Actually listens
A decade of reading rooms as a DJ translates better than you'd think.

(05) / FAQ

Questions,
answered plainly.

Common
I'm new to the NDIS, can you still help?
Absolutely. You don't need to have it all figured out. Tell me roughly what you're after and I'll walk you through how support usually works and whether I'm a good fit. No jargon, no pressure.
How does payment and booking work?
Three ways, whatever suits your plan: through Mable, through Hireup, or directly with me as a registered sole trader (ABN). I work with both self-managed and plan-managed participants. We'll sort the details together before anything starts.
What does a first meeting look like?
Usually a relaxed chat (phone, video, or in person) so we can get a feel for each other and talk through what you'd like support with. There's no obligation and nothing's locked in. If it's not the right fit, that's completely fine.
How soon could we start?
I'm currently taking new enquiries. Once we've had a chat and sorted the booking method, we can usually arrange a first session within a week or two, depending on your schedule and mine.
What if I'm not sure my needs are a fit?
Just ask. I'd rather have an honest conversation up front than leave you wondering. If what you need is outside what I do, I'll tell you and point you somewhere better where I can.
